Nano Nitrogen for Increasingyield of Maize (Zea mays L.)

Nitrogen fertilizers play an important role in the cultivation of crops, excessive and improper usage cause severe issues with respect to human environment. It is essential go for alternative sources nitrogen like nano slow controlled release nitrogen.An experiment was conducted at Agriculture Research Farm, Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, during kharif 2022 by using source maize crop.The laid out randomized block design eight treatments replicated thrice.Among different combinations recommended dose along urea treatment applied 100% N+Nano N twice 30 60 days after sowing(T6) thebest treatmentin terms growth yield (7.2 t/ha).
